Responsible use
The short version: Leadhabit reads what is already on your screen and stores your own notes. It never acts on LinkedIn for you.
What Leadhabit does
- Reads posts and profiles that are already rendered in your browser.
- Stores what you choose to save, plus your notes, statuses and dates.
- Hides posts you told it to hide.
- Copies a message to your clipboard when you ask it to.
What it will never do
- Send a connection request.
- Send a message.
- Visit profiles, follow, or endorse in the background.
- Collect data from pages you have not opened.
- Mark a lead as contacted without you clicking it.
Why
LinkedIn’s user agreement prohibits software that acts on your behalf. Enforcement is uneven, which is what makes automation dangerous rather than merely against the rules: the tools work right up until an account is restricted, and the account is the thing you cannot replace.
There is a second reason that has nothing to do with rules. Automated outreach reads as automated. The experienced operators you most want to reach are the fastest to recognise it and the least forgiving about it. Whatever efficiency you gain is paid for out of the only asset that matters in this channel.
What we ask of you
Leadhabit makes it easy to be consistent. It cannot make you relevant. Please do not use it to send the same message to hundreds of people — it will work badly, and it is not what the tool is for. The playbook is our argument for the alternative.
