Volume is the easiest thing to measure and the least useful. A hundred messages with a two per cent reply rate is worse than twenty with twenty per cent, and it costs you a reputation on the way.
The three that matter
- Reply rate per search. Which phrases produce conversations, not saves.
- Time from save to first contact. If it is longer than a week the post is stale.
- Conversations per month. The only number that predicts revenue in ninety days.
What to ignore
Connections accepted, profile views, and total leads saved. All three go up when you do more of the wrong thing.
Start the habit this week.
Install it, run one search, and save five people. That is the whole first session.
